This Festival Has Everything You Need To Feel Better – Now!

Did you know that over 17 million days were taken off in the UK last year through stress-related illness? However, the positive news is we are 10 times more likely to turn to alternative ways to be healthier in mind and body, with over 50 percent of people using alternative medicine including acupuncture, osteopathy and natural remedies to feel better.

Now, Essex-based business woman and holistic retailer Mary Anne McGuiggan is launchingthe Health & Wellbeing Festival to bring together a wealth of knowledge, products and ways for you to feel and look better.

Taking place on Sunday 16th September 2018 at Greenwoods Greenwoods Hotel & Spa in Essex, the Health & Wellbeing Festival is an exciting new mind, body and soul event. With an exciting mix of workshops, including crystal bowl healing, gong baths and spiritual healing, there will over 40 stands offering a range of complimentary products and services including crystals, sun-carved art, vegan health and beauty ranges, vegetarian foods, exotic tea, eco-fashion and Mary Anne’s hand-made soy candles with essential oils.

It’s taking place in the beautiful 17th century manor house that is Greenwoods Hotel and Spa, including the garden space which will feature the Garden of Relaxation with a range of activities to try, such as meditation and relic Buddha blessings by Paul King, who is the Abbot of the Dari Rulai Fa Yin Temple based in Chelmsford, Essex.

Charismatic John Richardson of 70s pop band The Rubettes will be performing a fun, interactive drumming session and mantra choir and you can find out more about how you can protect your health with the team from Geovital who specialise in environmental medicine. You can enjoy facial reflexology, Indian head and aromatherapy massage, Reiki, Reflexology and physic readings in the Wellbeing Spa, and Jo Willsher, from Chelmsford’s prestigious Willsher clinic, will be on hand to explain the benefits of clinical homoeopathy.

In the evening, Kerry Standfast and Lisa Meginnis will be holding an evening of mediumship from 6.30-8pm with all proceeds going to International Animal Rescue Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that helps with all animals suffering from abuse or who are alone.

Tickets are priced at £6.50 and there will be a range of deliciously healthy food and beverages on offer from just £3, plus you can also book in advance for workshops and classes for a small donation on the day. A generous donation from ticket sales and raffle will be donated to Cancer research and Dementia. There will also be some fabulous prizes to win at the Health & Wellbeing Festival raffle, including a Tip Tree Jam hamper, dinner for two at award-winning restaurant Smith’s, afternoon Tea for Two at Tip Tree Jam, CACI facial, Neal’s Yard Organic products, a spa day at Greenwoods and vegetarian cooking workshop.
