Better Food Choices For Our Health Heroes

2 MIN READ • 17th June 2020

As a result of the pandemic, our appreciation for the NHS has united us as a nation.

Companies and brands across the UK have provided our health heroes with care packages, beauty bundles and free UBER rides – all with an effort of making their lives easier.

This new campaign is no different.

Pollen + Grace (the modern-day food service run by nutrition experts, no less) has collaborated with The Doctor’s Kitchen to raise awareness of the need for healthier food choices to help nourish the nation.

Their joint mission is to educate and inspire everybody about the benefits of a healthy, plant-based diet, as well as a campaign to protect the wellbeing of healthcare staff by providing nutritious food.

To kickstart the campaign, Pollen + Grace and The Doctor’s Kitchen have co-created delicious plant-based meals that contain carefully selected ingredients to help support, improve and maintain health, with 100% of proceeds from purchases of the products going to NHS Charities and initiatives to tackle food insecurity across the UK.

How will the campaign work?

The launch runs parallel to Pollen + Grace’s continued efforts to bring healthy food to fuel frontline workers, with over 4,500 nutritious meals donated to date across 31 different hospitals and GP practices in and around London and continuing support of food insecurity charities.

The limited-edition BBQ Pulled Jackfruit and Rainbow Slaw Box and Spicy Sweet Potato and Bean Burrito Box meal boxes from Pollen + Grace and The Doctor’s Kitchen are carefully formulated to nourish the mind and body with ingredients that support the immune system, maintain heart health and improve mental wellbeing.

Here’s what you can expect from each box.
